Mahmoud Elsheikh Omer

Graduated from the Faculty of Law University of Khartoum, in 1990 with (LL.B. Honors). He obtained his MCL in 2000 from IIUM, Malaysia.  Mr.         Ahmed is currently a registered advocate and a legal advisor for Leader Technology Group including Tarco Air for civil aviation.  Further he is the head dept. of commercial law, Faculty of Law U of K, and a lecturer of banking law and business law at the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Management Sciences U of K, respectively. In addition, he is a member of: Sharia and legal studies Committee- National Council for Higher Education and Scientific Research. Human Rights advisory Council –Ministry of Justice. Legal profession examinations committee- Ministry of Justice. Examinations Committee of Accounting and Auditing Profession (Sudan). Further Mr. Ahmed acquired considerable experience as a legal practitioner outside Sudan as he worked as legal advisor for International corporations, multi- national joint ventures and governments. He was the head of Administration of Legal Affairs. IMAF Sdn Bhd , Kula Lumpur , Malaysia  , and head dept. of International Relations and legal advisor for ATC Sdn Bhd , Malaysia. He was the legal advisor of PW- Eco joint venture, K. L, Malaysia.  Further he was an official translator and interpreter before Malaysian courts.  He worked as manager and coordinator for UN Women access to justice project. Currently Mr. Ahmed is the coordinator of the legal aid project with UNDP. Area of specialization: Commercial law-Banking Law- Business law- International Trade Law –Contracts –Air and Maritime Law- International Commercial Arbitration- Civil Aviation Regulations- Investment Laws and regulations – Money laundering and anti-corruption laws-IHL.
